This is the second poem I will be sharing with you from my notebook this week. This is another poem I wrote wondering what love is. I guess from what I've observed over the years from people around me, listening to people's stories and thinking to myself there must be another way.
I believe there will always be a solution for any issues in a relationship if both partners are humble enough to accept their mistakes and be willing to set themselves free from the hurt - holding on to grudges and bad feelings towards their partners for what they have done in the past. Forgiveness is not for the person who did you wrong, it is a decision you make to not allow the memory of the hurt to hurt you anymore so you can move past it and or move on.
But anyway, without further ado I believe the poem will give you an idea of what I'm trying to say again because of the questions I was asking myself.

Titled: What Is Love Anyway?
Is it when you take something
away from someone without even
care about their feelings?
Or is it when you care for them
selflessly?
It is when I make you feel
unwanted and embarrassed
around your friends?
Or is it when I hold your
hands even when I know
they don’t like you?
Is it when I hurt you and
don’t have the guts to say I’m sorry?
Or is it when I put away
my pride and ask you to
forgive me?
Is it when I allow my anger
to overpower me that I should
raise my voice?
Or is it when I care for and
protect the very thing I, love
and that is you?
Until next time.
